After that, she moved to various other positions and became Director of Development, School of Nursing University of California at San Francisco, CA in 1992.

Dorotea Reyna also worked as Vice President of Advancement and Director of Development at California Institute of Integral Studies San Francisco, CA for 14 years. She is an excellent play writer and author and has multiple publications under her name. Se published titles including My Father, Voice, Reina de Copas, and Moustache.
